Ninho unveils his latest track: Camp Nou!

It all came down to “a single drop of water”. When Ninho penned these punchlines for his album Destin, he had no idea that it would earn him his first-ever diamond certification. Later, on Jefe, he would go on to sit on “a slightly bruised throne”. Since his early days, the rapper from 77 has been stacking triple platinum records, particularly through his mixtape series M.I.L.S, steadily climbing from one diamond certification to another.

Today, he is part of the 77° DEGRÉS compilation, a project that brings together the top artists from his region, much like what 93 Empire did for the 93 district. The lineup features Uzi, Negrito, Sensey, ISK, Timal, and RK.

With his latest track, Camp Nou, the rapper takes us on a dreamlike journey through Paris, drawing a parallel with the legendary FC Barcelona stadium. While Kery James once said, “94 is like Barça”, for Ninho, “77 is the Camp Nou”.

The instrumental for this powerful track was produced by Kitashima, a renowned Lyon-based producer known for his work with Juiice and Richi. He has previously crafted beats for Buvance and Baby Boo by Juiice. The instrumental, both modern and razor-sharp, provides the perfect backdrop for the rapper, allowing him to unleash his signature sharp flow and lyrical prowess. A report from TF1’s news broadcast even highlighted that “the rapper has a way of putting words to the struggles of today’s youth”, a generation that “sees itself in him”.

In Camp Nou, Ninho goes full-on ego trip mode:

“Vengeance glacée, sur un gros Max T
Toi, tu réponds jamais aux RDV
Y’a pas de Lambo gros, y’a pas de Féfé
Mais y’a des mahels de baisé, du bénef’ abusé
On arrive en full Hermès gars, on fait péter l’thermostat”

The explosive music video, filmed across Paris and its suburbs, was directed by the talented quartet Sponge Production, Screetch, Kaleel, and Sony. Sponge Production has previously worked on projects like Agaccu 3 by Bazbaz, Terrain d’herbe #1 by Saamou, and Le prix de la réussite by Kaaris. Meanwhile, Screetch is the mastermind behind the media platform Daymolition.
