Nahir and Freeze Corleone unveil the third installment of “MoneyGram”!

Nahir, a rapper from Blanc-Mesnil in Seine-Saint-Denis, continues to make his mark on the French rap scene. He has just released his new project, “Rien sans Lien”, an album packed with collaborations featuring Vacra, Genezio, Freeze Corleone, Franglish, Guy2Bezbar, Malo, and Soolking. To shape this album, Nahir worked alongside five promising young artists. At the same time, he launched a four-part documentary series tracing the creation of the project. In the first episode, he highlights the talents who contributed to crafting the album.

The rapper also unveiled a major new track, “MoneyGram Part. 3”, in collaboration with Freeze Corleone. The “MoneyGram” series follows the lineage of previous collaborations between Nahir and Freeze Corleone, reminiscent of “Scellé”, a project initiated by Freeze Corleone and Ashe 22. Their collaboration led to the joint album “Riyad Sadio”, a direct reference to their cultural roots. Staying true to their musical aesthetic, “MoneyGram Part. 3” is a dark and powerful drill track.

Nahir and Freeze Corleone unveil the third installment of “MoneyGram”!

Freeze Corleone has left a lasting impact on French rap with the release of his debut album, “LMF”. Despite undeniable success in the charts, the artist faced accusations of anti-Semitism, leading to his boycott from certain radio stations and even being questioned in the French National Assembly. His second project, “ADC”, sold nearly **48,819 copies in just two weeks**. Although less controversial than its predecessor, it still features a striking line aimed at Gérald Darmanin:

“I’d rather be accused of anti-Semitism than of rape like Darmanin.” (The minister has since been cleared of these allegations).

The production of “MoneyGram Part. 3” is the work of Timo and Camaya. Timo, a member of KatrynaSquad, boasts an impressive discography, having worked on tracks such as “Ça ira” and “Cervelle” by SCH, “44” and “Mama No Cry” by Ninho, as well as “Hier” by PLK. Meanwhile, Camaya has collaborated with major artists like Kery James (“Le Poète Noir”), Werenoi, Sadek, and Jul. The instrumental perfectly complements the drill universe of both artists, where Nahir’s deep, gritty voice contrasts sharply with Freeze Corleone’s elusive, precise flow.

Freeze Corleone is known for his dense lyrical universe, filled with references. Staying true to his signature style, he alludes to “Star Wars” and his two projects, “La Menace Fantôme” and “L’Attaque des Clones”, while also referencing his work with Ashe 22:

“Cuts more than a lightsaber (Shh), I go straight to the source, straight to the greenhouse (Direct)
Need more money than Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.”

Meanwhile, Nahir delivers a sharp, confident egotrip verse:

“Around my way, one mistake and you’re out, like a chick wearing ballet flats
Watch out for your broski, if it ain’t Thomas Price, then who? It’s over (It’s over).”

The music video’s visual aesthetic perfectly complements the track’s cinematic and shadowy drill atmosphere. The video was directed by Piège Studio, a production house known for its work with Freeze Corleone and Ashe 22. They are also behind the visuals for “Shavkat” by Freeze Corleone and “Cash” by Sazamyzy and Ashe 22.
