La Mano 1.9 goes full “Businessman”

La Mano 1.9 keeps making waves. Hailing from the 19th arrondissement of Paris, the rapper has been dropping collaborations with impressive consistency. The result? Over 276 million streams on Spotify. In just a few short months, he has emerged as one of the most promising new faces in the French rap game.

With his latest track “Businessman”, La Mano 1.9 goes back to basics — raw, no-frills rap rooted in classic gangsta rap energy.

La Mano 1.9 goes full “Businessman”

The beat is produced by Soko and Eliyel, two names that are now closely tied to the artist’s sonic universe. They’ve previously teamed up with La Mano 1.9 on standout tracks like “I’m Sorry”, “J’coupe tout”, and “Pataya”. They’re also behind the hit “Jerrican” for Guy2Bezbar. On this new release, they deliver an explosive drill beat, perfectly tailored to La Mano 1.9’s sharp and relentless energy.

Riding this intense production, the rapper unleashes a fierce, no-holds-barred verse — all set in a chaotic office scene:

“Need Ramos‘ salary, they’re asking how much we make
We commit crimes, so we stack sins, yellow bubbly buried in the crowd
We know you’re not involved, we know you never pushed a single kilo, bro
Cops watching us on the R, I’m recounting bills in the matte grey ride”

The music video — both absurd and visually striking — is directed by Harris Kacy. In it, La Mano 1.9 rocks a suit and tie in a blazing office, playing the part of a literal “Businessman” torching his corporate surroundings.

Harris Kacy, already praised for directing HMZ and SDM‘s clip “Toute la semaine”, delivers another offbeat visual that perfectly aligns with the rapper’s world.
