La Fouine wraps up Capitale du crime radio with his Outro!

After presenting his Bénédictions to the public, La Fouine announced his retirement, following the trend of many rappers of his generation. However, as with many others, rap remains an unshakable passion. Today, he returns to the forefront with a new chapter of his project Capitale du crime, titled Capitale du crime radio. This time, it’s a true tour de force: the artist delivers over thirty collaborations, featuring prominent figures of the French rap scene such as RK, Leto, ZKR, Franglish, Koba LaD, Dinos, and ElGrandeToto, as well as promising talents like Bu$hi, La Fève, and Malo.

This project transcends the labels of old school or new school. Through the concept of “radio”, La Fouine explores the full spectrum of his artistry and invites a wide range of rappers to contribute. The artist recently unveiled the Outro of this project, a powerful conclusion that leaves a lasting impression.

La Fouine wraps up Capitale du crime radio with his Outro!

The instrumental composition of the Outro, both refined and impactful, is the result of the work of three talented beatmakers: Scvlra, Raed, and SHK. Scvlra and Raed, known for their close collaboration, especially with Leto, operate from the headquarters of the label Winterfell. Together, they have created memorable tracks such as Mozart Capitaine Jackson Episode 2, Tout Gâché, and Je crois qu’ils ont pas compris. On this project, their signature sound is evident in the track Gangsta et Célèbre, featuring Leto.

As for SHK, a beatmaker from Épinay-sur-Seine, he has established himself through prestigious collaborations with artists like Gazo, Central Cee, and Freeze Corleone. His contribution to the Outro blends classic sounds with iconic samples, paying homage to the golden age of rap while injecting a modern energy. This track delivers a raw and incisive performance where La Fouine showcases his impeccable mastery of the craft.

In an unapologetic egotrip style, La Fouine delivers striking punchlines, such as:

“I throw punches like Apollo Creed, if I smoke you, no apologizing”

and also:

“Her account is verified, she’s got the big Patek (Let’s gui, let’s gui) / Stop overthinking, kid, he’s not your son (Let’s gui, let’s go).”

The accompanying video for the Outro takes a minimalist approach, true to the visual aesthetic of the project, which focuses on the music rather than extravagant settings. Directed by Dima, this simple yet effective visual highlights La Fouine and his world. Notably, Dima also directed the videos for Sierra Leone with ZKR and 300 with RK and La Fouine.
