L2B returns to its roots with a pure rap comeback: “Tout pour l’équipe”!

L2B has just hit a major milestone with the first part of Nés pour briller, dedicated to KLN. After nine weeks of circulation, the project is on the verge of going gold, tallying nearly 39,000 units sold across all formats. Hailing from Bois l’Abbé, a symbolic neighborhood in the 94 area of France, the rap collective continues to affirm its deep roots in a thriving independent scene. Early local legends like La Mafia Black helped shape the vibrant energy that now defines this zone.

It’s in their home turf of Bois l’Abbé that L2B recently gave an intimate interview, reflecting on their evolution and the way success has transformed their lives. Back in the day, references to convertibles were just for the rhyme; today, they’re part of the lifestyle. Right from the start of the interview, they’re welcomed with pride by the neighborhood chanting “Les princes de la ville”. Until now, Bois l’Abbé had only produced a few recognized names in the game, such as Rsko and the group 400 Hyènes.

The crew is now pushing forward with the second chapter of Nés pour briller, this time spotlighting D2. He recently stood out alongside Genezio and Keblack on a vibrant Afrobeat banger. Now he’s back on familiar ground with “Tout pour l’équipe”, a no-frills rap track shot in the streets of Bois l’Abbé, staying true to the raw energy of their early days.

The instrumental, crafted by Puch’K, follows the path set by their previous track with Genezio and Keblack, while also nodding to the success of their breakout hit “Pélican”. This time, the beat is razor-sharp and stripped-down — a clear departure from the more experimental tones of the first volume of Nés pour briller.

With unapologetic egotrip energy, L2B drops hard-hitting bars like:

“J’monte sur la bête avant un pé-tou
Veulent des montagnes de thunes, savent pas quoi faire avec
L’impression que ces trous de balle ont trop regardé Pablo”

The video, filmed in the heart of Bois l’Abbé, powerfully underscores their deep connection to the area — every corner tells a story, every wall holds a memory. The clip was directed by Mateo Da Silva, best known for his work on Liim’s’ video “Problèmes”, and more recently for bringing to life “TI TI TI” by Gradur, SDM, and Rsko — another talent straight out of Bois l’Abbé.
