L2B has emerged as one of the most exciting revelations of 2025. The rap trio dropped an ambitious project titled “Nés pour briller” (“Born to Shine”), conceived as a three-part series, with each volume dedicated to a member of the group.
This bold and cohesive project is now edging closer to platinum certification. The third and final volume, focused on IDS, has just been released, continuing the impressive momentum of the collective.
L2B embodies the perfect balance between lyrical precision and infectious energy. Hailing from Champigny-sur-Marne, more specifically the Bois-l’Abbé neighborhood, the trio are natural-born entertainers who know how to set the tone.
They recently paid tribute to their hometown in an on-site interview, mentioning other local rap figures such as Rsko and the crew 400 Hyènes.
To launch this new chapter of “Nés pour briller”, L2B teamed up with SDM, whose career has skyrocketed since the gold-certified single “Ocho”. The result? An undeniable banger.
L2B and SDM go hard on “David Douillet”!
Before Teddy Riner, there was David Douillet—a French judo legend, Olympic champion, and multiple world titleholder. Drawing inspiration from this icon, L2B and SDM deliver a heavyweight track that hits just as hard.
The production is handled by two top-tier names: Dany Synthé and Push’K, forming a true dream team.
Dany Synthé is one of the most influential producers in France, known for hits like “Sapés comme jamais”, a dancefloor anthem that won a Victoire de la Musique—well before the French music industry fully embraced the legitimacy of so-called “urban music.”
Push’K has long been a trusted collaborator of L2B, having produced several of their standout tracks, including “Pélican”, “Tout pour l’équipe”, and “Movie”. On “David Douillet”, he delivers a sharp, high-energy beat designed for both live performances and explosive playlists.
With catchy gimmicks and clever punchlines, SDM and L2B bring the fire:
“With the fog, we can go heavy, David Douillet
No longer in the haze, I wake up to scrambled eggs
I’m ahead of them, they’re still in draft mode, trying to pick fights
I’m not naive like before, we’ll wash you if you try to get wet”
The video, directed by Yanis LaCrème Film, features the artists alone in their neighborhood and on minimalist white backdrops—allowing their raw presence to take center stage.
Previously acclaimed for directing the video for “Collabo” by Niska and Ninho, as well as “LVL UP 3” by Ninho, LaCrème Film once again showcases his visual mastery.
