Kutson Unveils His New Single “OULALA”: An Artistic Renewal

The Franco-Cameroonian sensation, Kutson, is back in the spotlight with his latest single “OULALA”, heralding a promising new era in his career. Born in Douala, the economic hub of Cameroon, Kutson was raised in a vibrant musical environment, influenced by his father, a nightclub owner and concert organizer. It was in this festive atmosphere that his love for music was awakened from a young age.

By the age of eight, he was already immersed in the bustling music scenes, mingling with renowned Cameroonian artists. These early experiences solidified his calling to music, which became more pronounced when he moved to France for his studies at twelve. During this time, music became his sanctuary amidst the instability of his nomadic life.

Settled in Orléans at the age of 15, Kutson dove into the world of rap, joining groups Blackélite and PHXDM, and venturing into music creation. His distinctive style blends Afro and urban rhythms, conveying feelings of perseverance, hope, love, and joy. In 2017, he took a critical step by establishing his own label, Wèlè Music, which means “put the music” in his native language.

Enriched by diverse cultures from around the world, Kutson released his first album “AUTRE PART” in 2019, an eclectic mix of urban pop now available on all streaming platforms. His artistic journey continued with the launch of “MOMENTUM” in 2024, a collection of three EPs, each with five tracks, reflecting his ongoing commitment to Afro-urban music.

The “MOMENTUM” project has enabled Kutson to solidify his position in the music industry, blending catchy rhythms and deep themes to captivate a broader audience across Europe and Africa. This work symbolizes a rebirth in his career, a period of overcoming after various challenges.

The single “OULALA” from Kutson marks the start of this new artistic phase. Through this song, he continues to deliver lively and committed music, ready to reclaim his audience and reaffirm his presence on the music scene. His solo career has already garnered over 700,000 views on YouTube and more than 100,000 listens on various streaming platforms, proving his ability to share his art globally.

Kutson shows no signs of slowing down, and his latest single “OULALA” is poised to become an anthem for his fans and for those just discovering his vibrant music deeply rooted in his Afro-urban heritage.
