In 2012, the final episode of “Raï’n’B Fever” was released. After a twelve-year hiatus, during which legendary tracks like “Bienvenue chez les Bylkas” by Sinik and “Sobri” by Leslie and Amine left a lasting impression, DJ Kore makes a powerful comeback. The first single by Hamza paved the way, and now Tonton and Cheb Abbes bring the enchanting sounds of the Mediterranean.
Kore revives the new “Raï’n’B Fever”!
The producer and beatmaker, whose reputation spans across Europe, is not just the mastermind behind the label A.W.A.. With his protégé Zola, he has reached new heights after a long evolution, notably marked by his collaborative album with Koba LaD, “Frères ennemis”. Beyond his career as a producer and beatmaker, DJ Kore has led numerous large-scale collective projects.
He orchestrated the soundtrack of “Taxi 5”, a hallmark project in French rap since the release of the first installment, with the famous refrain: “Tu veux connaître mon rêve, écoute ça…”. He also produced the soundtrack for “En passant pécho”. Additionally, he is featured for the first time since his clash with Lacrim on the track “Mango”. It was only natural that the “Raï’n’B Fever” project would return to him.
Kore invites Rim’K and Cheb Abbes for “Ana Wana”!
Rim’K, freshly returned from his performance at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, proudly waves the Algerian flag on Kore’s new compilation, accompanied by Cheb Abbes. The tone is set right from the start with a 100% Raï chorus, delivered by Cheb Abbes. Rim’K, with his deep voice, complements this captivating track, much like he did in a completely different style on “Déconnecté”.
This track recaptures the essence that made the early “Raï’n’B Fever” albums so successful. It’s an extraordinary journey through all Mediterranean cultures, blended with French rap. The video, filmed in Algeria with an electrifying atmosphere, is directed by Moncef. The Argo Film director, who had previously worked on the visuals for “Planète Mars” by Jul, delivers a new video that is both fluid and engaging.
