Jazzy Bazz backs his project with “Gizeh”!

Three years ago, Jazzy Bazz made a lasting impression with his project “Mémoria”, highlighted by a standout feature from Alpha Wann on the track “Panorama”. After nearly three years out of the spotlight, he makes a highly anticipated return with “Nirvana”, an introspective and refined album featuring collaborations with Esso Luxueux and Tuerie. During his appearance on the show “Le Code” to promote the release, the rapper candidly discussed his relationship with music and openly described himself as a proud “slacker”. His ambition remains simple: to live off his music while preserving quality time for those who truly matter.

Celebrated for the finesse of his lyrics and the sincerity of his craft, Jazzy Bazz deliberately distances himself from the demands of fame and the need for external validation. The chaos and hype of chasing trends don’t interest him in the slightest. As he calmly reminds us: “Don’t be sad for me” — he’s at peace. The artist also unveiled the poetic and symbolic visuals for “Gizeh”, a direct reference to the three legendary pyramids built for Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.

The track’s production is handled by nu_tone and Baryshnikov. The former, a longtime collaborator, plays a central role in shaping the sonic identity of “Nirvana”. His production credits include standout tracks like “T’oublier”, “Nirvana”, “Vertigo”, “Night City”, “Souviens-toi”, “Soledad”, “Paris TX”, and “Death Row”. Together, they craft a soundscape that is both atmospheric and immersive, giving Jazzy Bazz the space to fully express his voice and vision.

The track stands out with its ethereal and floating production — a sonic canvas perfectly suited for introspection. The lyrics take a deeply personal turn, embracing a kind of self-aware existentialism.

The rapper lays his emotions bare:

“In my mind, a dim atmosphere
I knew I’d love you from the very start
Now I’m thinking back to my twenties
I doubted too much, it became exhausting
I doubled the effort — now I’m making up for it.”

The video immerses the viewer in an entirely artificial, digitally crafted world reminiscent of a dark cityscape in the vein of Gotham City. Directed by Geordy Couturiau in collaboration with Jazzy Bazz, the visual captures the hybrid and melancholic aesthetic of the project. While relatively unknown in the rap scene, Geordy Couturiau is a talented Belgian short-film director. He has previously gained attention for works like “Lucienne Eats a Car”, selected at the Catalonia Film Festival, and “The Magic Flute”, featured at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival.
