ISK is in full Impact mode!

At the end of last year, ISK unveiled the second chapter of his ambitious project Hannibal, featuring a lineup of high-profile collaborations with RK, Fresh LaDouille, La Plaie, La Fouine, YL, Lesram, Kaaris, Mola, and KLM. First discovered through the Daymolition platform with his hard-hitting Vérité freestyles, the artist quickly rose to prominence thanks to the strength of his lyrics and the intensity of his delivery. Today, he’s no longer a rookie—he’s firmly established as one of the most promising voices of his generation.

As a continuation of Hannibal, ISK also released L’Art de la guerre (“The Art of War”), a project that draws its name from the iconic strategic text by Sun Tzu. In an interview with Raplume, ISK reflected on the deeper meaning behind the title: War is not just a series of battles and violence. According to him, the Chinese general’s teachings also resonate in silent struggles—fought without direct confrontation.

At the heart of Hannibal, the rapper from the 77 region launched a new freestyle series titled Impact. He recently dropped the third installment, keeping up the sharp and unapologetic momentum.

ISK is in full Impact mode!

The track’s production is handled by Neits, a trusted beatmaker who previously worked with ISK on N’aie pas peur and À long terme, and also produced the freestyle Impact #2. His beats have also landed with artists like Hornet La Frappe and Bouss. The beat on this track leans modern and atmospheric—built around floating guitar arpeggios and a heavy, broken bassline. True to form, ISK “kicks” with raw energy, stacking lines with verbal precision and power.

Staying true to his gangsta rap roots, ISK delivers a gritty portrait of street life:

“Night falls, we arrive in the shadows, I’ve got your address, your info, your first name.”

The music video, directed by Kabaw Visu, perfectly complements the dark and raw energy of the track. ISK is seen navigating between the road and the forest, in a visual that feels almost cinematic. The director, a regular collaborator, has already worked with ISK on some of his most iconic visuals, including Chino, Jules Koundé, Brav-M, and Vérité 7.
