Hornet La Frappe & Leto: turning up the heat with “Quartier chaud”!

Hornet La Frappe bangs back onto the scene with “Source”, released in February 2025. He’s joined by DA Uzi, Niaks, and Missan, proving this comeback is far from just talk—it’s happening now. Just a few days ago he dropped the heat-track “Quartier chaud”, with Leto. Back in 2017, his debut “Nous-mêmes” shot him to prominence, and now his return feels more powerful than ever.

The beat is crafted by Saan and Racy. From Chartres, Saan has done major work—collaborating often with KIK and composing “Au revoir BB” for Gringe. Meanwhile, Racy has built his reputation producing for Haristone, especially on tracks like “Trop jalouse” and “Bounce 4 Me”. Together, they deliver a relentless egotrip:

“D’la GAV j’ressors sans mes lacets
En bas ça vend la shh à prix cassé
Oulala – hou
J’ai essayé de quitter la cité mais j’peux pas j’ai tout là-bas – tout”

Leto answers back:

“Hier j’étais en chien
Aujourd’hui tout va bien
J’ai la gueule cassée, elle me trouve beau
Le petit veut sa place
Il veut être dans le bain”

The video, directed by Transac, reinforces the artistic vision. He’s recently worked with Djadja & Dinaz on “Gucci Gucci”, with TH on “47 Phil Foden”, and with Fresh La Douille on “Sicarios”—so expectations were already high, and this rollout lives up.
