Gaulois, Ninho & Morad turn up the heat with Vida!

Gaulois makes a strong comeback with the release of his second mixtape, La G World Pt. 1. The project brings together an impressive lineup: Maes, Leto, 3robi, and heavy hitters like Ninho and Morad, who also appear with him in the freshly released video for Vida.

Shot in sunny Barcelona, the visual sees Gaulois reconnect with Morad, a key figure on the Spanish urban scene known for his collaborations with several major French rappers — including the unstoppable Jul. Alongside them is Ninho, head of the label Tiens Tiens Retiens, under which Gaulois is signed, bringing his support over a Latin-inspired instrumental.

The track is the result of a cross-cultural production effort. On the French side, we find Voluptyk and Scar; representing Spain is SHB.

Scar, known for his work on the track Chop by Fresj in the rap competition show Nouvelle École, has also produced for ElGrandeToto, Gazo, Jok’Air, Jul, and Niska.

As for SHB, the multi-platinum producer is a go-to name on the Spanish scene. He’s worked closely with Morad on hits like Normal and Hablan de Mi, and collaborated with artists such as Kidd Keo.

The result is a summer-ready beat with rich Latin flavor, layered with warm guitar riffs. Blending rap and melody, the artists deliver a catchy hook made for sun-drenched party playlists.

The verses keep it raw and grounded in the streets — a style that echoes the gritty tone of Yamin Lamal:

“Lived through too much drama (drama), we dodged the dirt
Solo in the ride (ride), I spin, I make my play (play)
Got the piece under the seat (yeah), and a few kilos of weed (weed)”

The vibe moves fluidly between tough street energy and smoother melodic tones:

“Buying some threads, buying some metal, from twelve hundred to fourteen hundred euros
There’s nightclubs, there’s fight clubs, my cousin (fight clubs, my cousin)
On the tape, we fix it (fix it), price goes down, we cop it cheap, then flip it (real quick)”

The video captures the duality perfectly, shifting between the gritty charm of Barcelona’s inner neighborhoods and the sleek luxury of a hillside villa — offering a strong visual contrast that elevates the track.
