Favé drops the single “Mc Laren”!

Favé is putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated project “Pleins Phares”, set to drop on October 10. Signed to Morning Glory, a label founded by DJ Bellek — brother of DJ Kore — the rising French rapper stands among a growing roster of promising talents, including Yoko, Bag Jeune B, , and Testri. As the release date approaches, Favé teases a new single: “Mc Laren”.

This track, both introspective and accessible, dives into the rapper’s childhood memories. It’s a deeply personal piece that allows Favé to reflect on his journey with clarity and maturity.

The beat is produced by Boumidjal and Holomobb. A former member of the duo Double X, Boumidjal frequently collaborates with the production team Holomobb. Together, they’ve previously delivered standout instrumentals for tracks like “Run” by Rim’K and SDM, and the fan-favorite “Stacks” by Zed and Dinos.

With “Mc Laren”, the producers lay down a subtle, melodic urban beat — arguably one of the most radio-friendly cuts on “Pleins Phares”. Over this smooth soundscape, Favé opens up, sharing raw thoughts and hard-earned life lessons:

“The old head keeps telling me times have changed, mama told me money drives people crazy
I get heated, I wanna slap folks, I know it’s not the smartest way”

The music video — directed by Thomas Clément and produced by Avlanche — plays with visual contrasts: archival footage of Favé as a teenager interwoven with present-day scenes of him driving a Mc Laren. The visuals mirror his come-up, from humble beginnings to current success. Thomas Clément, who previously directed the “BPM” video for Genezio and Favé, once again delivers a striking visual identity.
