Decimo, a rising rapper from Mantes-la-Jolie, continues his climb within DJ Bellek’s label, Morning Glory, alongside fast-emerging artists such as Yoko, Bag Jeune B and Favé. After making a strong impression with his Symphonia trilogy, he has recently been dropping a series of singles. The latest one, “Wiz”, has just landed — showcasing a sharper, more aggressive Decimo, driven by a tense, street-rooted flow with razor-sharp cadence.
Decimo drops “Wiz”!
The production brings together a now-essential trio: DJ Bellek, HeerBeats and Sm!le. Bellek, the mastermind behind Morning Glory, frequently teams up with HeerBeats and occasionally with Sm!le. Together, they’ve already shaped standout tracks such as “R.A.T #2” by La Mano 1.9. The Bellek / HeerBeats duo also produced “Sativa 3” and “Sofitel” for Yoko.
On “Wiz”, the beat leans on a wind instrument heavily processed through studio effects — a texture reminiscent of the nay, giving the track a dark, almost cinematic atmosphere. Decimo takes full advantage of it, stacking punchlines and shifting effortlessly from one egotrip to the next.
“Look us in the eyes when you shake my hand or put your mano away.”
“I’m at Barbès–Rochechouart with thousands of euros in my hands.”
In the visual, the artist strolls around a basketball court, rides through the city, and walks the streets with his crew. The video switches seamlessly between color and black-and-white sequences, amplifying the raw energy of the track.
