Dada speaks about Demain!

Four years ago, Dada made a lasting impression with his track Tout va bien. Backed by the sharp production of Noxious, a renowned Bordeaux-based producer, and elevated by the meticulous direction of La Piscine Films, the visual quickly became a classic. That same year, he followed up with Jolie Cœur, further cementing his distinctive universe and storytelling talent.

After a four-year hiatus, Dada makes a powerful comeback with Demain, a conceptually rich track once again brought to life by La Piscine Films. Blending hope and inevitability, this song resonates like a heartfelt cry, capturing the complexity of an uncertain future.

The instrumental composition of the track is crafted by Samy Sam beat et dada. With an afrobeat-infused production, he creates a vibrant sonic backdrop where Dada’s voice flows effortlessly and emotively.

Through his lyrics, the artist portrays the despair of those who, hidden in the shadows, chase an illusory dream:

  • “Child of the sun, I live at night to exist”
  • “You want the real deal, I know people in the botanics”

Visually, Demain is enhanced by the masterful direction of Jeanne Sigwalt & Oscar Castro (La Piscine Films). The music video paints a gripping picture of harsh reality: an overworked kitchen assistant, a mother forced into prostitution trying to secure a future for her child, and other struggling souls trapped in an unforgiving daily grind. Yet, amidst this darkness, Dada infuses a glimmer of hope.

The black-and-white aesthetic amplifies the characters’ distress while highlighting the light at the end of the tunnel. Produced by Kids with the support of CNC, this deeply moving and realistic project brilliantly showcases Dada’s ability to tell raw, real-life stories while injecting them with light and humanity.
