Testri, the latest addition to the Morning Glory label following Bag Jeune B and the rising Yoko, is steadily making a name for himself on the French rap scene. He first made waves with his track “Crystal Palace”, which he unveiled during SDM’s Planète Rap, captivating listeners with his raw yet refined sound. A few months later, he dropped the video — dark, ambitious, and tailored for rap’s Premier League.
Now, the artist is stepping up again with “Game Over”, his second single, whose video just premiered on YouTube.
But for Testri, there’s no such thing as “Game Over”!
Backed by an energetic, hard-hitting beat, Testri delivers a gripping track driven by a powerful hook. He opens up about his past with raw honesty, navigating themes of struggle, survival, and inner strength. As he poignantly raps:
“Du mal à pennave, du mal à guérir,
Les problèmes je les règle un par un.”
Just like with “Crystal Palace”, Testri shows off his sharp pen and knack for impactful lines. He doesn’t hold back:
“Le temps passe, j’ai plus trop le cœur sur la main,
Personnellement, je laisse les bouffons aboyer.”
The video, directed by Arthur Lvz, follows Testri through a day in the life — a cinematic, introspective ride in his gamos that captures 24 hours of realness. Both sleek and gritty, the visuals strengthen the artist’s unique identity. Arthur Lvz, who also helmed videos like “Sao Paulo” by Bag Jeune B, “No Lack” by Favé, and “Beterbiev” by ZKR and Freeze Corleone, proves once again that he has a keen eye for storytelling.
