Bowa, the alter ego of Maher Beauroy, is a fresh voice on the Caribbean music scene. He now offers a more personal sound, blending pop, electro, and Creole rhythms. The name Bowa, inspired by his own surname, strongly reflects his identity, deeply influenced by his homeland.
His artistic approach is rooted in a fusion he calls “Futurhizome”: a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Bowa creates a futuristic Creole pop that is both sensitive and bold. Last year, the artist released the EP MVT, driven by his compelling single “Tousel A Dé.”
Now, with his new single “An Nou,” released on May 16, 2025, he delves into the end of a romantic relationship through an Afro-pop track that is both soft, melancholic, and haunting.
Bowa represents a new vision for Caribbean music: free, hybrid, forward-looking, yet always true to its heritage.
