Bolémvn and La Mano 1.9 keep it smooth with Djandjou!

This summer, Bolémvn made a strong impression with his project Bon qu’à ça, featuring standout collaborations with La Fouine and his cousin Koba LaD. A few months later, the Bât 7 rapper makes a notable comeback with Djandjou, an explosive team-up with the unmissable La Mano 1.9, who recently broke into the spotlight thanks to his summer smash alongside Gims on Parisienne. Bright and uplifting, the track blends feel-good vibes with pop-leaning sounds, underlining the two artists’ ambition to reach well beyond the rap scene.

The production is handled by Le White, a prolific beatmaker and long-time collaborator of La Fouine. He’s behind some standout tracks like 300, Légendaire, and O Block, and has also worked with RK, Genezio, and Dr Yaro. With Djandjou, he delivers a catchy pop atmosphere that contrasts with the darker universe Bolémvn and La Mano 1.9 have often explored. This time, the duo leans into lightness, sharing—sometimes with humor—the ups and downs of a complicated romance.

To bring the track to life, the visuals were entrusted to Guy Fonkui, a director praised for his striking aesthetics. The video showcases Bolémvn and La Mano 1.9 setting the vibe in a warehouse or basement, joined by their dancer, in a setting that feels both raw and festive. Fonkui, who previously directed Plus jamais by Lyna Mahyem and Certifié Toxic by Kaza, once again proves his ability to turn stories of love and tension into compelling visuals.
