Moha MMZ‘s latest project has just been released, and it’s a true revolution. The rapper has completely reinvented himself. Before the release of “La Plage”, he unveiled three striking visuals for “Agoraphobe”, “Ivre”, and “Only You”, drawing inspiration from an initiatory journey through Japan. Composed by Jack for the first two tracks and by 26ID for the third, these songs were all overseen by Nikola Feve, aka “Nk.F”, one of the architects behind the PNL wave. Shot in Japan, these visuals represent a true turning point for Moha MMZ. With “La Plage”, the rapper delivers a project that is both original and intimate, immersing us in a universe he has masterfully reinvented.

Nikola Feve was mentioned on Moha MMZ‘s Instagram during the announcement of the project’s release. Upon closer inspection of the credits, it’s clear that he supervised the entire project, giving it a cohesive feel and a recognizable style, that of Nk.F. While many artists aim for a series of potential “hits” by featuring a wide range of VIP guests, Moha MMZ kept his collaborations limited to three carefully chosen guests: So La Lune, Camille Yembe, and Ryan Koffi. Although the tracks are diverse, they share a subtle coherence that defines Moha MMZ‘s universe. His captivating voice, paired with rhythms that flirt with ethereal tones, creates an intimate and dreamlike atmosphere, perfectly reflected in the project’s visuals.
The project also features BBP on production, who worked on several standout tracks such as “Lily Rose”, “Voleur de rêve”, “Champ de Mars”, “Bleu nuit”, and “3 minutes”, the album’s final track. BBP, a member of the QLF collective, first gained recognition with the “Deux frères” album before becoming one of the most influential producers in French rap. Recently, he has crafted hits like “Bitches & Ryads” by B.B Jacques, “Merci” by SDM, and “Cannelloni” by SCH. His distinctive touch is evident throughout “La Plage”.
Finally, Moha MMZ delivers deeply personal and emotional storytelling. While it’s far from a strictly structured album, a continuous narrative and musical thread runs throughout the project.
