Last March, Mortalla revealed his first project titled “Calibré”, featuring collaborations with RK and Mougli. At the same time, the rapper from Oise released the music video for the track “Caramelo” to promote his work. This song, full of melody, beautifully blends singing and rap.
Mortalla enchants with the sweetness of “Caramelo”!
The instrumental composition of this track is crafted by Noxious, whose name graces some of the finest productions in the rap game. Noxious is one of the big names in production in France, having worked on tracks such as “Putana” by Ninho, “Bénéfice” by SCH, “W.L.G” by Niska, and “Ratpi World” by Booba. His production, driven by a bass roll with baile funk accents, is perfect for this urban track, which is both smooth and melodic.
Mortalla shares his experiences with great talent in this track. He narrates his life on the streets with a positive outlook, far from the pessimism shown by some rappers. In the video directed by Sacha Picard, the rapper from Oise is seen in places that have marked his daily life. The director also collaborated with Jilo for the live session of “Méchante”.
